Fair Go Casino have seized a high 5 figure win from a player based on bonus terms that were not applicable to the player. When playing with a bonus the player exceeded the maximum allowed bet. Rather than confiscating the balance the operator chose to contact the player and tell them they would overlook the violation in this instance. The player had completed the wagering requirements and chose to play on with their balance. Their balance rose to over $90k. The operator refused to pay this win citing that when they chose to overlook the previous violation, the funds were considered to be a No Deposit Bonus, but did not inform the player of this at any point.
In our opinion the operator has simply looked for justification after a large win not to pay the player, and failing to find any legitimate reason as looked to apply bonus terms despite there being no grounds to view the play as subject to bonus terms. As such Fair Go Casino and all associated properties have been moved to Not Recommended Casinos list..
Slotocash – part of the Deck Media group – sent a payment to a US card provider that resulted in the player’s card getting locked. The player was then left with a locked card and no funds as the casino declined to provide any assistance in resolving the matter. They have also appear to have confiscated winnings based on vague terms and conditions.
Numerous DeckMedia operators have been non-responsive to complaints posted at AskGamblers.
During the December 2013 review update we came across a player complaint where Rich casino who are owned by Engage Entertainment appear to have instituted a Spirit of the Bonus fund confiscation. This is absolutely unacceptable behaviour.
7Spins casino who are own by Engage Entertainment have failed to cooperate fully with our complaint service. While the casino were happy to tell us that this player involved had been running multiple accounts, they refused to provide any evidence to support that claim. Given that all this casino hold their licenses in Curacao by a Master License holder we’ve found to be consistently non-responsive to complaints this effectively means that the player has no-where to go to get an independent review of a decision to confiscate funds, leaving the casino as the final arbitrator with regard to decisions that they benefit from financially.
At least one of the casinos owned by Engage Entertainment, Winward, appears to have historical associations with the now defunct Top Game casino software.
21Dukes – an operator owned by Engage Entertainment – took nearly 2 years to pay a player a low 5 figure balance and pressured the player by suggesting that the player would be paid faster if they were to pay more and if they didn’t pay they’d reduce the player’s withdrawal limit even further, going so far as to suggest a monthly withdrawal limit of 100 credits, which would have resulted in the balance taking decades to pay.
Another operator not part of the Deck Media group but listing their ownership as Engage Entertainment, Sunset Slots, has been accused by CasinoMeister of illegally obtaining a mailing list.
Engage-Entertainment’s legal department have contacted us to insist that they are customers of the Deck Media affiliate program and there is no other relationship between their properties and the other properties represented by Deck Media. We can neither confirm nor refute this, but regardless there is an obvious association between operators sharing an affiliate program and the same applies for operators sharing ownership.
