Unlike other wins that can impact an operator’s liquidity and ability to pay players, hence the implementation of withdrawal caps, progressive jackpots are paid from the jackpot contributions and cannot impact the operator’s financial liquidity where they are managed appropriately. The “Real Money” section of their Terms states: “Unusual and Large withdrawals might take longer to be processed as they need to go through extra checks before being approved by our compliance department. In certain cases should your winnings exceed €5,000.00 the funds will be paid through Bank Wire in increments of €5,000.00 per fortnight until full settlement.” 06/07/2018 In our opinion there is no sound basis for slow payment of this type of win other than to look to frustrate winning players into losing a significant portion of their balance back while awaiting the operator addressing their withdrawal request. This is not a practice that we condone.
