Club Gold confiscated a players balance due to the player using a Video Poker game while completing the wagering requirement for a bonus. Club Gold insisted that Video Poker was a ‘Fixed Odds’ game and hence restricted.

A fixed odds game offer the player the same odds of winning regardless of what actions the player takes. As Video Poker allows the play to make strategy decisions that drastically affects the odds of the player winning, it cannot be considered a fixed odds game and as such the player should have been paid.

Another issue saw Club Gold confiscate a player’s balance due to “multi-accounting” despite the fact that the player was playing with their own funds (no bonuses involved). While it’s far from impossible that Club Gold’s claims are right, in general for someone to want to engage in multi-accounting their has to be some incentive to run multiple accounts (i.e. profiting from bonuses). Without bonus involvement, the likelihood of multi-accounting diminishes substantially.

Club Gold casino have recently made two shifts in software provider, settling on a pretty much unknown provider Hawk Gaming. This last platform change was made with no notice to players or affiliates.

At the same time Club Gold casino appear to have made a series of staffing changes with no notice to their employees.
